While fads and fashions may come and go, the true classics will always be in demand. It’s been nearly a decade since DigiTech introduced the mind bending effects of the Whammy pedal to the world, and that original design has been in demand ever since. The same smooth pitch bends, rich detuning, accurate dive bombs, and fast tracking harmony shifts, which were responsible for the instant success of the original Whammy pedal have been resurrected in the new incarnation of the DigiTech Whammy??????? Pedal. Painstaking efforts were made to recreate the exact sounds that made the DigiTech Whammy such a popular and indispensable effect. Every feature of the original WH-1 has been included in the new Whammy; From the rotary preset selection knob, to the Ferrari red color; From the mechanical momentary switch, to the exact same interval selections. However, the new Whammy has added the versatility of MIDI control making this timeless effect flexible enough for any situation. The new “Dive Bomb” Preset gives the effect of a Floyd Rose whammy bar pushed all the way to the body of the guitar, and 16 LEDs provide a visual indication of your Preset selection even on dimly lit stages.

Pure Fender And Pure Soul! The Robert Cray Standard Stratocaster guitar is a stylishly ???????strong persuader that captures Cray’s unmistakable tone and style. Outfitted with a vintage hardtail bridge, Fender Custom Shop pickups, custom shaped neck based on a ‘58 and ‘64 Strat, Fender/Ping vintage style tuning machines, and a Sunburst finish. This guitar effortlessly takes you from stingin’ to swingin,’ play it through a Vibro-King???????, or a Super Reverb amp to nail Cray’s sound! The feel of this guitar is solid, the hardtail bridge (no tremolo routing) has unbelievable sustain, and you can play this guitar for hours on end and without tuning. The tones from the pickups are really special. It has full, warm, chiming sound with excellent quack in the 2 & 4 positions. The pickups are probably the best pickups you will find in a mexican Strat, they carry an unreal crisp tone range. ROBERT CRAY ON HIS SIGNATURE STRATOCASTER: “The neck was designed after two older ones I use at home ??????? I really don’t use them on stage anymore. One is a 1958 Strat and the other is a 1964 Strat. What Fender did is measure both guitars and made the neck on my Signature guitar similar to the two. The radius was also designed to fit my hand. “My guitar has Texas Special??????? pickups. Fender uses the Texas Special??????? pickups on a lot of guitars, but on my model, the pickups get brighter as they go toward the bridge, which is unusual. I experimented with lots of [pickup configurations]. I use the second position and the fourth position mostly. I use the second position most of the time for rhythm and the fourth position for lead. But more recently I’ve been using the first and the third quite a bit, as well as the fifth. “Also, there’s a stop tail piece, and no whammy bar. I don’t use a whammy bar; that’s the reason why. But the advantage is that the guitar does not go out of tune. It doesn’t have any of the springs that are required for the whammy bar; the strings are threaded through the back of the guitar. “[On tour] I use three Fender Signature guitars, string gauges .011, .013, .018, .028, .036, .046 and Dunlop Tortex (heavy) picks. ??????? that’s all.” Features: Model Name: Robert Cray Standard Stratocaster Alder Body w/ Sunburst (Polyester Finish) Maple Neck, ???????61 ???????C Shape (Polyurethane Finish) Rosewood Fingerboard 9.5 Radius (241mm) 21 Medium Jumbo Frets 3 Custom Vintage Strat Single-Coil Pickups Controls: Master Volume, Tone 1.
